Ask Sniff

Ask the atlas anything about dog genetics

Plain English in, a cited answer out. Grounded in 9.67 million variants across 188 breeds. Every number comes back with the sample size it was computed from, because how sure we are is part of the answer.

Answers are grounded in the open Sniff atlas and cite the pages they draw from. This is a research resource, not a veterinary diagnosis. Pathogenicity predictions are computational and unproven. The atlas covers common breed-segregating variants (global MAF over 1 percent); most classic rare disease alleles are below that floor by design.

Prefer to query it like a machine? The same atlas is agent-callable at api.sniff.world and as the sniff-mcp MCP server.
